Analogue Music Series 2020-21 season ends May 2nd with "Closer"; new podcast launched

Analogue Series Finale — “Closer”

On May 2nd, the Analogue New Music series will present a live-streamed concert featuring 4 new short works by local composers. For this year’s call-for-scores, we challenged our members to create a 1-minute composition inspired by some aspect of the pandemic, with the intention of mounting a performance that follows all lockdown protocols. We are thrilled to be premiering works by Bernie Andrews (performed by Peter Crouch on flugelhorn), Sundar Subramanian (performed by Mark Molnar on cello), Leo Lightstone (performed by Erik Johnson), and Colin Frank & Sarah Albu (who will be performing their collaborative piece) and we’re delighted that all composers will be able to join us live to introduce their pieces. Please tune in via Zoom or Facebook live on Sunday May 2nd at 7:00pm.
