Ottawa Collective New ART/New MEDIA Host Open House at Makerspace North July 19th

New ART/New MEDIA, a collective of Canadian artists dedicated to interdisciplinary collaboration and the exploration of new works, is hosting an Open House at Makerspace North at 7:30 PM on July 19th, 2019.

The evening will feature a new Canadian composition by Matthias McIntire, an installation by contemporary visual artist Alex McLeod, an original piece of environmental art on the recent Ottawa River Floods, and arrangements of Ottawa Valley Folk Songs by Juan Olivares.

New ART/New MEDIA's co-founders, clarinetist Juan Olivares and soprano Meghan Lindsay, are looking forward to connecting with the Ottawa new music scene for this event.
