Listen Back: Pony Girl's "Show Me Your Fears"

While all of the upcoming Arboretum Festival's offerings are super-impressive, Pony Girl definitely catches the ear in particular. Formed on an impulse to "write music based on imaginary films," the decatet (yes, had to look that up) have never met a tone-colour they couldn't say no to – what's more, they have found the perfect context for each, mixing an intoxicating array of instruments, voices, textures, and ideas on an aural canvas as wide as Canada.
