New Songs at Christ Church Cathedral – This Friday, 7:30pm!

This Friday, pianist and composer James Wright performs alongside baritone Gary Dahl at Christ Church Cathedral, also featuring new songs by Andrew Ager and Matthew Larkin.

Wright's own work on this program, "Letters to the Immortal Beloved," on excerpts from Beethoven's letters, features a newly composed baritone/piano arrangement. Read here for more about this piece. 

A new CD recording of these pieces, by Julie Nesrallah and the Gryphon Trio (recorded at the CBC Glenn Gould Studio in Toronto), will be released on the Naxos Label in January.
